TYTP is pleased to be putting on Romeo & Juliet as our next youth play! Shakespeare's timeless tragedy will be brought into the modern day as it follows the ill-fated romance between Romeo and Juliet, members of the feuding Montagues and Capulets. With the help of their loyal confidantes (Romeo's wise and compassionate mentor, Friar Laurence, and Juliet's nurturing Nurse) the young lovers marry in secret. However, their bliss is shattered by a series of unfortunate events fueled by the impulsive actions of Romeo's quick-witted friend, Mercutio, Juliet’s hot-tempered cousin, Tybalt, and the level-headed Benvolio.
