Emma was a professional singer for 30 years and now Emma works as a vocal coach at various schools across Buckinghamshire and at Urdang Academy in London. She lives in Aylesbury with her family and her cat, Hamilton. Emma is a massive Theatre nerd, if she is not organising it, she is watching it. Emma's favourite shows are Hamilton, Spring Awakening and Westside Story. She loves to work with children of all ages and getting them involved in the magic of the theatre.

Lynda Minshull

Executive Producer

Lynda has a passion for Youth Theatre. She has had the honour of producing many different eclectic, and risky, Youth shows over the last 25 years, working with numerous young performers and production teams. Lynda particularly enjoys witnessing the collaboration between students from different local schools across Herts, Beds and Bucks working together harmoniously! She feels extremely privileged to be a member of the Executive Team of Tring Youth Theatre Project whose mission is to keep Youth Theatre in this area thriving inclusively, giving young performers in the local area an opportunity to perform and shine!

Ruth Emily Plaxton

Secretary

Ruth is originally from East Yorkshire; she moved “down South” in 2011 to study dance at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, and has had professional roles on stage and TV, including as a founding member of the Very Top Secret Dance Company: taylorgaunt.co.uk/the-very-top-secret-dance-company.

She’s always been happiest when in the theatre, whether on or off stage, and now works as a Theatre Marketing Manager.

Ruth has been involved with TYTP since 2017, performing as Wendla in ‘Spring Awakening’ and as a soloist/understudy Maureen in ‘Rent’. She has since volunteered as choreographer of TYTP’s youth musicals, including ‘Our House’ and ‘Avenue Q’, and joined the committee as Secretary in 2022.

Beth Wheeler

Child Welfare Officer

Bethany has worked with children of all ages across the UK for 8 years. Working in rural Somerset and busy London, but Buckinghamshire will always have Beth’s heart. She’s currently studying to be a primary school teacher and loves a trip to the theatre.

Musical Theatre gave her opportunities, confidence and joy!

She loves to help children who want to perform. It can be really scary the first time and she wants to give them the courage to get out there and love it too. She wants to see young people flourish with self belief, enjoy and excel in musical theatre.

Henry Mannall

Website and Social Media

Henry is currently working at a local youth charity called Aylesbury Youth Action which supports young people aged 14 - 24 with their next steps. He has recently completed his A-Level studies and is continuing to volunteer his time toward the theatre project. He was also the Managing Director of a Young Enterprise Company called FitKit during his time at his A Levels.

Henry, when he is not studying or working, likes to relax whether that is through his passion of video games or the enjoyment of music, film and theatre.

The most recent theatre production that Henry has seen was Harry Potter and The Cursed Child on the 7th March 2020. Just 9 days before the first lockdown was introduced.

He is also absolutely enthralled by cars.

Rosalind White

Photography and Website

Rosalind has been a performance photographer for over ten years, specialising in theatre and live music. She has worked with over forty theatre groups and musicians, and photographed over sixty unique shows, some more than once. When licencing allows, Rosalind will also film performances.

When not in the theatre or at a gig, Rosalind also runs a successful portrait studio, photographs weddings and other events, and offers brand photography and design services to small businesses.

What you might not know about Rosalind is that she has occasionally 'graced' the stage herself, performing in the chorus for two adult pantos and taking on the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in 'Wizard of Oz' with the Griffins in Luton, and singing in the pit choir for DMTC in 'Hairspray' at the Grove Theatre in Dunstable.

She has toured with Theatre in Education companies, taken part in many productions around the area, including being part of the Pendley Shakespeare Festival since 2005. She has also been heavily involved in directing primary school productions, Matilda, The Lion King and most recently filming a year 5/6 production of The School of Rock.
