Tring Youth Theatre Project exists to nurture young talent, encourage performance, build confidence and stimulate an interest in the magic of theatre. Based at The David Evans Court Theatre at Pendley, we stage musicals and plays for young performers aged 8 to 22, as well as host an annual live music festival, TringFest, showcasing local youth bands.

Formerly the youth division of Tring Festival Company, we debuted as TYTP in 2017 with an acclaimed youth production of the rock musical Spring Awakening, and have since become known for our bold and high quality shows. Since 2017, we have staged youth musicals including Rent and Our House: The Madness Musical, kids’ musicals including Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and Bugsy Malone, and plays including Simon Stephens’ Punk Rock and Alan Bennett’s The History Boys.

We’re always keen to find new talent and there are loads of ways to get involved with TYTP - not just on the stage! Whether you have a a young performer in the family or are looking to get involved backstage, as a member of our committee or just support the work we do, we’d love to hear from you!
